Ethnosociology & Ethnohistory Library Catalogue

This catalogue includes all the books belonging to the library of the section "Ethnosociology and Ethnohistory", covering the history and theories of social anthropology as well as case studies over Africa South of the Sahara with an accent on African populations past and present and on their dynamics of contact and social change. The new acquisitions will be added monthly to the 4.635 books already listed.

The section also keeps and updates a documentation data basis (Centre de Documentation en Sciences Humaines, CDSH) where books, chapters of collective books, and articles collected in more than 300 scientific journals are brought to the visitors, facilitating thematic research in all domains of social sciences and humanities thanks to the attribution of detailed keywords. This databasis can be consulted in the main library of the Museum, from Tuesday to Friday, or, in the museum on any terminal connected to the intranet.
